The crumpled remains of a BMW are all that are left after the driver lost control and flipped it, hitting a tree, gas line and the Wal-Mart sign on Main Street early on the morning of July 2. Penticton RCMP say luckily the Alberta driver was not seriously injured in spite of being tossed out the vehicle. Speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors and charges are being considered as the investigation continues.
