Elvis is in the park

The Penticton Elvis Festival returns this weekend for its 14th year.

Corney Rempel, an Elvis tribute artist from Manitoba, gives a friendly wave as he gathers with other Elvii for some last minute instructions from organizers at the Penticton Pacific Northwest Elvis Festival. The festival continues with tribute artist competition in Okanagan Lake Park today, leading up the headliner Donny Edwards at 8 p.m. in the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre and returns Sunday June 28 with the Gospel Music Showcase starting at 9 a.m. in the park, before moving to the Trade and Convention Centre for the tribute artist finals at 2 p.m.
