Emergency room in Oliver to close overnight

South Okanagan General Hospital has closed its emergency department several times for lack of staff

The South Okanagan General Hospital is closing its emergency department temporarily due to staff shortages.

Emergency services will not be available from 6 p.m. today (March 24) to 7 a.m. March 25.

Patients needing emergency care should go to Penticton Regional Hospital.

All other inpatient services will continue at SOGH.
