It's easier for people to have fun at this year’s Peach Festival without having to worry about traffic and parking.

The City of Penticton and B.C. Transit are making it easier for people to have fun at this year’s Peach Festival – Aug. 3 to 7 – without having to worry about traffic and parking.

Once again this year, there will be enhanced transit service during the festival, with extended service on Route 5 Main Street to Skaha Lake. On Wednesday through Sunday, buses will run hourly until midnight, including Sunday service on Aug.7 only.

The last bus to leave the Peach Festival site will depart at 11:41 p.m., and a temporary bus stop will be set up at on the north side of Lakeshore Drive, next to the Festival site. Regular fares apply.
