For the month of December, parking in Downtown Penticton just got a lot less expensive.
The City of Penticton is making parking free on all four Saturdays in December: Dec. 5, 12, 19 and 26. This gift to the community follows up on the Downtown Penticton Association’s I Heart Penticton campaign in hopes the free parking encourages people to shop local.

Free parking only applies to City owned or controlled stalls and parking lots in Downtown Penticton. For private parking lot rules remain in effect. Pay parking in public stalls and lots will continue to be in effect Monday to Friday during this period, and the pay parking system on Saturdays will resume on January 2, 2016.
