A portion of Highway 97 north of Summerland will be closed for part of the afternoon on Sunday, Dec. 18 for blasting work.

AIM Roads has the announcement posted on its Facebook page.

The area affected is between Bridgeman Road and North Beach Road for 4.5 kilometres.

The closure is scheduled for Dec. 18 from 1 to 2 p.m.
