Man assaulted and robbed in Downtown Penticton Friday

RCMP officer attended a personal robbery early Friday morning in downtown Penticton

At about 2 a.m. on July 20, officers were dispacthed when a man reported being assaulted and having his wallet and cell phone stolen.

The incident occurred near the Gyro Park area of Main Street, after the man had left a nearby pub.

The suspect was described as a First Nations male, approximately 25-30 years of age, with long hair past his shoulders.

Penticton RCMP are ask any witnesses who may have seen the incident occur to contact them at 250-492-4300.
