Shifting resources within the City budget to focus more on a balanced approach to serving all sectors of the business community is a move we need to make. Tourism Penticton, Penticton Hospitality Association and the economic development department are working in silos. We are not large enough for this model; it is time these valuable groups joined forces.
Tourism and Economic Development should be amalgamated into one with specialists heading various sectors.
