Property crime statistics in Naramata in the first quarter of this year are lower than in the same time period in 2021, according to RCMP statistics.
The Penticton South Okanagan Similkameen Regional Detachment quarterly report shows a total of eight property crimes in the first three months of this year, down from 13 in the first three months of 2021.

These included two residential break and enters, compared with one in the first three months of last year, one case of mischief to property, down from three in the same period of last year, two vehicle thefts and one incident of fraud.
Police responded to one incident of domestic violence in the first quarter of 2022. In the first quarter of 2021, there were two incidents of violent crimes including one case of assault and one sex offence.
