No charge for Naramata transit users on election day

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen is offering free public transit aboard the Naramata transit system on Saturday Oct. 24.

The regional district will waive fare collection to support transit users travelling to voting locations on election day.

Route 10, which runs within the community of Naramata to Penticton, has scheduled Saturday service. Transit routes operating Saturday service within the city of Penticton transit network, will also offer free fares on Election Day.
