69-year-old man injured when struck by a car last Thursday at a pedestrian crossing on South Main Street.

B.C. Ambulance paramedics and first responders from Penticton Fire Rescue attend to an injured 69-year-old man struck by a car last Thursday at a pedestrian crossing on South Main Street. The accident happened just after 4:30 p.m. and police say speed and alcohol were not factors. The victim was taken to Penticton Regional Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing and it’s not known if charges will be laid against the 74-year-old male driver.
