A fire in the attic space of a house on Penticton’s Norton Street prompted a response from 20 crew members on Friday night.
Rob Trupp, assistant fire chief, says the cause of the blaze is unknown and remains under investigation as of Saturday evening.
Crews responded to the 300 block of Norton Street at 8:15 p.m., initially with six firefighters and two engines.
A third alarm was initiated, with smoke coming from the attic space upon arrival.
By the end of the response, 20 firefighters were on scene. Crews spent two hours at the location.
Trupp added that there were no injuries.
