A stolen passport, identification and other items were found on a Penticton man by police.
On the evening of Jan. 20 police were investigating a suspicious male at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre and executed a warrant for his arrest. During a search of his person, numerous items of stolen property were discovered, including identification which had been used in an earlier fraud transaction.
The man police arrested was also found to be in possession of stolen passports which belonged to a family who had their car broken into on Jan. 19 and prescription medication of another individual. Cameras and video cameras were also found with photographs of another individual, which matched another ID in the man’s possession.
