Road closures are scheduled to begin as early as Wednesday (Aug. 15) to make way for the Super League Triathlon.
Motorists and cyclists using downtown roads are reminded that a series of road closures will happen and to avoid delays the city is recommending that residents familiarize themselves with the details of the closures.

Lakeshore Drive (between Winnipeg Street and Martin Street)
— closed Aug. 15 from 8 a.m. to Aug. 20 at 8 a.m.
Lakeshore Drive (between Power Street and Martin Street)
— closed Aug. 16 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Main Street, Westminster Avenue, Martin Street, Lakeshore (between Martin and Front), Vancouver Avenue and Lower Bench Road
— closed Aug. 18 from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Lakeshore Drive (between Riverside Drive and Winnipeg Avenue)
— closed Aug. 18 from 7 to 10 a.m.
Lakeshore Drive (between Power Street and Martin Street)
— closed Aug. 18 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Lakeshore Drive (between Martin Street and Ellis Street), Ellis Street (between Vancouver Avenue and Government Street), Main Street (between Wade Avenue W and Westminster Avenue W), Westminster Avenue W (between Winnipeg and Main Street), Estabrook Avenue (between Winnipeg and Martin Street), Martin Street (between Estabrook Avenue and Lakeshore Drive), Government Street (between Ellis Street and Dawson Avenue) and Dawson Avenue (between Government Street and Dartmouth Road).
