Rocks on Highway 1 near Chase cause congestion

Traffic is at a standstill near Chase on Highway 1 after rocks fell across the road.

DriveBC alerted motorists to the incident at about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The rocks are reported to have fallen on the westbound lanes 5 km west of Francois Road in Chase.

Travellers are asked to drive with care.

While the highway is not closed, traffic is backed up westbound.
