Penticton RCMP’s drug task force took down another suspected cocaine dealer on Jan. 30.

Drug task force officers stopped a vehicle on Wade Avenue and arrested the driver, a 36-year-old male resident of Penticton. Immediately after the arrest, the officers executed a search warrant at a nearby resident in the 600 block of Wade and located a quantity of cocaine packaged for street-level sales and associated drug trafficking paraphernalia.

The RCMP release said the suspect had no criminal history whatsoever and was released to appear in court on March 26 facing a charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
