The Twin Lakes Golf Course housing developer received a mulligan from RDOS directors to allow him time submit a new variance permit application regarding required water amounts.
The most recent variance permit application was withdrawn at the Regional District Okanagan-Similkameen meeting last week.
A new application is expected to be discussed by directors at the July 7 meeting of the RDOS.
The highly anticipated Golder Report, the most recent hydro-geological assessment completed in the Twin Lakes area, has not yet been released. The report has been with the RDOS for more than a month but the developer has not yet given permission for it to be released to the public.
Local residents have voiced concerns that there is not enough water to sustain the new development and the existing residents around Twin Lakes.
