Two-vehicle collision snarls traffic in Penticton

Traffic was snarled Wednesday afternoon after a two vehicle collision closed a portion of Ekhardt Avenue and reduced Main Street to one lane. (Kristi Patton)

Eckhardt Avenue was closed at Main Street Wednesday afternoon after a two vehicle collision between an SUV and car.

The collision occurred just before 3:45 p.m. Main Street was reduced to one lane heading north.

At the time of this post no injuries were reported.

The front end of the Nissan SUV was damaged while the truck was damaged along the driver’s side.

RCMP and the Penticton fire department attended the scene.
