Osoyoos RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 68 year old woman.

Gaylin De Montigny, from Osoyoos, was last seen in the area on July 5 and was reported missing on July 11.

RCMP said De Montigny likely travelled by bus to Penticton early on July 5. She had a scheduled appointment in Osoyoos on July 11, however she phoned in the morning to cancel. Police have been unable to locate

where De Montigny called from.

Friends have told RCMP that they believe she could be in the Penticton or Kelowna area. De Montigny does not drive.

The woman is described as a caucasian female, with white hair that is cut in a bob style. She is 173 cm tall (5'6) and weighs 57 kilograms (125 pounds). De Montigny walks with a noticeable hunch and the use of a walker. Her walker is brown in colour with a basket on the front.

RCMP said descriptors of her clothing could not be obtained.

The Osoyoos RCMP are asking that if anyone sees or believes they have seen De Montigny to call the Osoyoos detachment at 250-495-7236 and quote file number 2016-3461.
