Every year, the Penticton Peach Festival's parades get bigger and better.

There was a huge turnout for the Peters Bros. Grand Parade Saturday at the 69th annual Penticton Peach Festival Saturday, with spectators lining the parade route along Main Street and Lakeshore Drive.

Among the many floats making up the two-hour long parade was the Peachfest's own, carrying the newly crowned Penticton royalty: Miss Penticton 2016 Rebecca Britton, and the two princesses Brynn Clark and Richelle Brown.

Sunday saw the Kiddies Parade take over Main Street, as children and parents got creative to take part in the annual march to the Kiddies Day entertainment.

Keep an eye on the Western News for more highlights from Penticton's biggest summer party.
