I believe that the most important issue concerning young families is affordable housing.
In order for us to accomplish this difficult task we must come up with solutions as to how we can lower the cost of residential housing. We must allow more densification in certain areas of the city for young families and young entrepreneurs who want more and live in Penticton.
Another solution is to create an innovative center so that our young entrepreneurs that are presently here will have a home for their business and at the same time we can recruit new companies to relocate here which will create good paying jobs.
