The community will have another opportunity to cheer for the RBC Cup Champion Penticton Vees.
Penticton Peach Festival organizers announced the Vees will act as honourary parade marshals in the Peter Bros. Grand Parade on Aug. 11.
"The Vees put together one of the greatest seasons in Canadian junior hockey history," said Peach Festival president Don Kendall. "It will be great to cheer for them one more time."
Vees general manager/head coach Fred Harbinson will be joined by several players in the parade, which is the largest in the B.C. Interior. The parade starts on Aug. 11 at 10 a.m.
