It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew George West after a short battle with cancer at the age of 74. He passed away peacefully at Moog & Friends Hospice in Penticton.
Andrew was born in Scotland and came to Canada when he was three years old. He has resided in Penticton for the last 46 years and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sylvia and his children, Janet (Charlie) and Susan.
Grumpa will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Dillon, Cassandra, Samuel, Jake and Emmalee. He was predeceased by his brother Roy in 2016.
Andrew worked for Revenue Canada for 25 years before retiring. He was an avid stamp collector. He also enjoyed fishing and camping and travelling with his wife. Andrew also like to make people smile.
A 'Celebration of Life' will be held on Friday, March 9th from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Penticton Legion.
