Betty was born in County of Middlesex, England on July 28, 1922, and passed away peacefully on July 22, 2020, at the age of 97.
Betty is survived by her son, Peter Adams (Christine); daughter, Cheryl McLaughlin (Danny Baker); stepchildren, Esther Brittain, Ken Brittain (Jackie), Clayton Tanner and Wayne Brittain, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Betty is predeceased by her first husband, Peter Adams followed by her second husband, Ted Brittain; son, Sean Yardley; and grandson, Danny Baker.
Betty moved to Penticton as a war time bride in 1946. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her dog Molly, trips to Hawaii while Ted was alive and family visits. The family wishes to thank the staff at Westview Care Retirement Home for their compassionate care. At Betty's request, no service will be held.
