CONNIE
April 19, 1920 – December 2, 2014
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Connie Woods on the morning of December 2nd, 2014 at the Village by the Station in Penticton. She has gone to join her beloved husband Duncan and be in the arms of her Savior. Mom was always devoted to her family and instilled in us the love of reading and fine arts. She was a loyal friend and had many lifelong friendships. Connie loved to travel and was always ready to plan the next adventure. She is survived by her children, Donna of Penticton, Wayne (Colleen) of Sooke, B.C. and Carol (Larry) of Cochrane, Alta. Connie also leaves behind her grandchildren, Joanne, Karen, David, James and Michael as well as five great-grandchildren. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Village by the Station for their wonderful and compassionate care of mom in her final years with special thanks to the staff of Cottage Four. A Celebration of her Life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Village by the Station or a charity of your choice.
