The loving family of Don wish to announce his passing after a lengthy illness, with family at his side.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Mavis; his daughter Tammy; his sons Lorne (Shawn), Dennis (Goldie); step-son Shane (Kim); many grandchildren and great-grands; his sister Penny; many extended family; and Shirley, the mother of his children.
Don was predeceased by his son Darcy (May 2015) and that boy's wife Brenda (September 2015); his parents Bertha and John; sisters Edna, Vivian and their spouses; brother Ed and his spouse.
We wish to thank the staff at Haven Hill for their care, hugs, laughter, and sharing of Don's life for over 3 years.
A short graveside service will be held at Penticton's Lakeview Cemetery on Monday, April 9th, at 1:00 pm. All are welcome.
