Elt passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 92. He was born in Penticton to a pioneer family and lived here his entire life. He leaves behind his wife, Mary; son, Alan; daughter, Carol (Curt Moon); grandsons, Ryan (Tree) and Cameron (Aline); sisters-in-law, Barbara Cossentine and Muriel Livingstone; many nieces & nephews and their families, and many friends. Elt was a proud veteran of WWII serving as a gunner with the Fort Garry Horse Armoured Regiment in the Normandy and Holland campaigns. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
