In Loving Memory ~
Elizabeth Julie Klamut (nee Kantz) passed away peacefully at the Sunnybank Retirement Home in Oliver B.C. on October 16 at the age of 96.
Predeceased by her husband Tony Klamut (1964), son Shayne Klamut (2017) and brother Joe Kantz (2017).
Survived by brothers Frank Kantz and George (Doreen) Kantz. Children, Susan (John) Stocks, Wayne (Wendy) Klamut, Kerry (Debbie) Klamut. Grandchildren, Cody (Leanne) Stocks, Shelby Stocks, Blake Klamut, Kaitlin (Jeremy) Van Troyen, Brooke Klamut, Toni (Clark) Burgart, Dana (Landon) Tyerman, Brandon Klamut, Justin Klamut and Brent Klamut. Great-grandchildren, Carter & Avery Stocks, Betty Van Troyen and Hulton Burgart.
Born in Mor, Hungary, Elizabeth immigrated to Canada at 6 months old. She became a Canadian Citizen in 1977. After losing her husband to a tragic accident early in her life, Elizabeth focused on providing the best life she could for her four young children.
Shortly after Tony's passing, Elizabeth and her 4 children relocated from Prince Rupert to Penticton where she raised them all on her own.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sunnybank for the wonderful care they gave Elizabeth.
