In Loving Memory ~

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Glen Holdener in Penticton on March 16, 2024. He was 70 years old. Glen was born in Revelstoke, B.C. The fifth of seven boys for Arnold and Beatrice Holdener.

Glen spent his youth in Revelstoke. As a teenager, he was on the Revelstoke Mountaineer high school basketball team and bowling league. He enjoyed golfing, and swimming.

He worked for the family business doing deliveries of groceries, pop and chips. At the age of 18, he opened the Revelstoke Hobby Shop with Alice Proctor.

After graduation, he set upon a career working for the BC Liquor Board starting out in Revelstoke, moving first to Whistler (living in Pemberton) and then Houston, BC before settling in Penticton.

After his retirement, Glen worked at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre, which he enjoyed until his health failed him.

Glen was a kind and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved his family time, spending time at the beach and enjoyed playing poker with his friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
