Herbert John Murray, 83, of Penticton, BC, passed away on May 13, 2022. Herb was born to Jack Andres Murray and May Murray (Riley) on June 20, 1938.
He was predeceased by his wife Carol Margaret Murray and daughter Shelley Elizabeth Murray.
He is survived by Kenneth John Murray, Michael Edward Murray, granddaughter Lillian Murray, grandsons Seth Murray and Mathew Murray, and great-grandson Zen Murray-Whitmore.
Herb was one of a kind. He will be remembered for his love of game hunting and fishing and all the memorable stories of his adventures. He had incredible patience and love for all animals and the animals loved him.
He was always ready with a beer in case someone came to visit and charm you with a silly song or filthy raise of the eyebrow. He always put his family first and made sure they had what they needed.
