With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Cecil Walker at the age of 87. Ken passed away at the Moog & Friends Hospice House, while surrounded by family and loved ones on May 17th, 2018.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Florence; children, Kevin (Janine) Walker, Valerie (Harry) Hohmann; stepchildren, Diane (Henk) Kroon, Kevin O'Brien, Lyndon (Brenda) O'Brien, Kathleen (Rob) Judnic; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many more extended family & friends.
Ken was born in North Battleford, SK and moved to the Okanagan in 1972 to start Walker's Jewellers, which is now continued by his son, Kevin. Ken was kind and compassionate to all and he will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 26th, 2018, 11 am at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1130 Carmi Avenue, Penticton.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
