Kevin Haynes Thompson
September 19, 1961 – April 6, 2017
On Thursday April 6, 2017, Kevin Haynes Thompson of Okanagan Falls, BC, passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 55 years.
He was predeceased by his mother Sharon Thompson.
Kevin will be fondly remembered by his family including wife Cheryl; father Tony; brother Wade (Tracy); stepson Joe Needoba (Tawnya Peterson); stepdaughter Lisa Needoba (Mike Watson); five grandchildren; niece Haley Thompson; nephew Taylor Thompson as well as many extended family and friends.
Over the years, Kevin worked as a paver, hay farmer, horse caretaker, and with the BC Livestock Co-op from whom he recently received a commemorative silver belt buckle engraved with his name celebrating forty years of service.
Kevin loved camping in the bush, fishing, gardening, travelling, and especially his cherished dogs and cats over the years, who often camped with them. Kevin and Cheryl enjoyed trips encompassing the coast of North America - from Alaska to the Panama Canal - as well as the Caribbean. A Celebration of Life will be held at his home in the rose garden Kevin planted, when it is blooming in June.
