In loving memory ~
Millie Marshall (nee Carmela Josephena Romano) passed away at Haven Hill Retirement Home on October 15 at the age of 93.
Predeceased by her husband Stewart Marshall (2007) and her son Ronald (2021). Survived by her son Howard Marshall. Born in Nelson in 1930 she later moved to Penticton in 1953.
Millie enjoyed gardening, her days skiing at Apex, volunteering with scouts, boys club, baseball and never missed a day helping with the REACT program at the community centre pool. She loved animals especially her dog Amigo and her various granddogs. Her backyard became a refuge for the neighborhood deer population and she could see nothing but beauty even as they feasted on her garden. She loved her bicycle rides along the channel foraging for wild asparagus, which she did into her 80s.
The family would like to thank the staff of Haven Hill lower cherry for their wonderful care of Millie.
