It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Patrick at the age of 67 from gastric cancer.
Survived and deeply missed by his wife of 42 years Pat, sister Bette (Francois) and several nieces and nephews he dearly loved, and many more extended family.
Patrick grew up in Burnaby graduating from Burnaby South in 1970. After graduation he obtained a business degree from BCIT.
Shortly after, he embarked on a year long trip across Europe with two of his best friends. They travelled through many different countries giving a unique perspective on other cultures that enriched his life.
Returning home he worked for several production facilities in the lower mainland becoming a skilled manager whilst obtaining his MBA from Simon Fraser University. But his proudest moment came partnering in Valley Comfort, a local manufacturer of Blaze King fireplaces and stoves.
An animal lover, Patrick leaves behind his cherished dogs who miss him terribly.
After retiring, golf became his biggest passion with the guys from Penticton Golf & Country Club. When he could be torn away from "the golf", he enjoyed frequenting many Okanagan wineries with his wife enjoying the bounties of the harvest.
Patrick was a very kind and giving person and was always the first to help. He leaves a big void in his friends and families lives.
Patrick's ashes will be scattered on a hill and there will be no service by request.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the SPCA or an animal rescue organization in Patrick's memory.
