Paul Frederick Bates

Paul Frederick Bates passed away suddenly January 27, 2020 at the age of 64 years in Port Coquitlam, BC.
Survived by his wife Doris Bates (33 yrs) Port Coquitlam, daughter Danielle (Chase) Welder, grandson Carter of Surrey, BC, mother Jean Bates of Penticton, brother Grant (Bev) Bates of Penticton. Also step daughters Anna of Louisiana, USA and Lisa of Pitt Meadows and their families. Predeceased by his father Fred Bates in 2009.
Born in Trail, BC the family moved to West Vancouver then Penticton in 1960. Paul did all his schooling in Penticton then after attending OK College Kelowna went on to positions at Hotel Vancouver, Sheraton Villa, Telus then working at the Chef's Table and Catering and becoming owner up until 2 years ago where he became a driver for BC Transit.
Celebration of Life will be held on March 7, 2020 at 1 pm at 18181 68 Ave Surrey, BC - Clubhouse.
