In loving memory ~
Ramona (Mona) Hofman was born in Fort St. John, B.C. on March 10th, 1960. She graduated from high school in 1978 and moved to Oliver, July 1st of that year. Mona worked for a short period as a travel agent. She visited Holland with her grandmother and also travelled to Hawaii. Another great memory was of her cruise on the Panama Canal.
Mona then went on to work in Oliver at the Sunnybank Care Home. In 1997 she transferred to Penticton and worked at the Penticton General Hospital. Shortly after, she sold her home in Oliver and in 2003 moved into her condo at Cherry Lane Towers in Penticton. Mona is survived by her mother Rulie and brother Jack, both of Penticton. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Mona was predeceased by her father Sam Hofman in 1999, her brother Eric in 2008 who was taken by an avalanche, brother Herald in 2016 and most recently her brother John (Big John) in 2022. The family would like to thank Mary Held for being a long time true friend of Mona's, being supportive over the years, and being by her side during her last days.
