Rosemary passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023, after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 87 years.

Rosemary is survived by her loving husband, Colin, of 66 years. She will be forever missed by her husband, sons Brent (Dyanne) and Brian (Judy), brother Herb (Jess), and niece Lori Rennie (James).

Rosemary also leaves behind 2 incredible grandchildren, Ryan and Sara Edge, who she thought the world of.

She is predeceased by her parents, Bert and Ivy Partridge, sister Joyce Rennie, niece Rhonda Johnson, niece Crystal Partridge and nephew Wade Partridge.

Rosemary was born at the Penticton Regional Hospital on July 30, 1936, to parents Bert and Ivy. She spent her childhood growing up on the family farm in Naramata with her sister Joyce and brother Herb. At the age of seventeen, she moved to Vancouver with her sister to train as a nurse.

It was during a summer vacation back in Penticton that she met a young man from Okanagan Falls named Colin. Rosemary married Colin on June 29, 1957, and they settled in Penticton to raise their family.

Throughout her life, Rosemary worked as a nurse at Vancouver General Hospital, a teller for the Toronto Dominion Bank and a service representative for Telus. In retirement, Rosemary loved to travel and visited many exotic locations.

Rosemary was a kind soul who always gave more to others than she ever took for herself. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her memory will continue to inspire, reminding us to cherish our loved ones and embrace life's precious moments.

In memory of Rosemary, donations may be made to the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation.
