Passed away on September 18, 2018 at Haven Hill in Penticton, while surrounded by family. Born on February 11, 1915, in Bystrica Slovakia to Francesca and Joseph Mader. She was one of eleven children which immigrated to Canada, and farmed in Northern Saskatchewan.
Predeceased by her beloved husband John, who passed away April 28, 1986, and granddaughter Carmen.
Rose is survived by sons Ronnie (Jane), Ken (Barbara); grandchildren Tammy, Michael (Angie), Cris; and great grandchildren Mason, Micah, and Maeva; who she adored and loved dearly.
Special thanks to the staff at Haven Hill, Dr. Daniel Killian, Everden Rust, my family and wife; who assisted me over the years with the care of my mother.

Funeral services will be held at the Osoyoos Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
