It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Susan Mary Roberta Johnson (nee Ballingall) at the age of 63. Susan, born January 24th, 1959, passed away the morning of March 23rd, 2022 with family by her side at the Penticton Regional Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents, George and Helen, brothers George and Ken, and sister Marianne; Susan leaves behind with broken hearts her loving spouse of 22 years Patrick; her daughters Sherry and Tammy (Karl); grandchildren Charlotte-Anne, Andrew, Lincoln and Logan; brothers Tom and Dan, sisters Jean and Betty and countless nieces and nephews.
Susan was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB later settling in Penticton, BC to raise her girls. She worked in hospitality and volunteered for many charitable organizations over the years. She was a caring soul, who was always looking after others before herself.
Susan had a passion for music and loved to sing. Anyone who heard her voice can attest that she would capture the hearts and attention of an entire room when she picked up a microphone. She enjoyed playing darts and billiards, and was an active member for many years at both the Elks Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Penticton.
Susan touched the lives of many and will be missed dearly. The family asks that you take a moment to remember and raise a glass to Sue!
A private scattering of her ashes will take place with family at a later date.
