Victor passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday August 8, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Victor will be remembered and sadly misses by his loving wife Edith, Children; Leah (Al) Redel of Edmonton, Alberta, Diane (Sheldon) Gogerla of Ardrossan, Alberta, Giselle (Larry) Gache of Sherwood Park, Alberta, two Grandchildren Hector and Tyler, and sister Elizabeth Bligh of Lethbridge, Alberta. His life had many facets, and it started out spending the first 46 years of his life farming in Busby, AB. He sold the farm in 1981, and decided to set out on a journey across Canada looking for a new place to call home. His search ended when he made his new home in Sherwood Park, AB. It was here that he started up In-Line Augering LTD., and took a active role in working hard for the next 10 years in establishing and expanding the business. He met Edith in1988, and the winds of change then came upon him. He sold his home in Sherwood Park, AB and together they moved to Sylvan Lake, AB, where they owned the Rainbow Trailer Park “The Okanagan of Alberta”. This endeavor was short lived, and it was decided that they wanted a real adventure, and together they went gold mining in the Yukon for two seasons, spending the winter months in the southern states. When they decided to end this adventure they moved to Fairview, AB in 1993 where they owned and operated the Fairview mobile home park for 10 years. He retired from the mobile home business, and moved to Twin Lakes, BC in 2003, and married Edith in 2004. Some of his hobbies included fishing, bowling, and staying active. He was a very hard worker his entire life, and had a generous heart, and loved life. His sense of humor, wit, and knowledge will be remembered, and missed by all who knew and loved him.
