In loving memory ~
My Father, William (Bill) Ronald Young passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the age of 99. He was predeceased by my Mother, Thelma Young on January 31, 2015. Both were devoted Jehovah's Witnesses throughout their entire lives.
Bill's work life was as a mechanic at his shop "Bill's Line Up Service" in Maple Ridge. Bill enjoyed music and played many instruments with guitar being his favorite as he loved to sing. Dad had a great love of horses and particularly enjoyed his time with his horse, Blaze.
He was predeceased by all of his sisters.
For many years following Thelma's death, Bill was in Westview North and was very well taken care of by the wonderful staff. They have many stories about how much they enjoyed Bill being in their care. A Huge Thanks to Westview.
Both my parents were fortunate to have Dr. Killian looking after their care.
My cousin, Jim Bardal stayed in touch daily and was a huge support to my Dad throughout his life. Jim and his daughters Ashley and Aidan and wife Anita visited regularly.
Thank you to all the friends who have stayed in touch and expressed their condolences. It has meant a great deal.
