Gas prices out of whack

Who is sticking it to us in Penticton? Is it our elected officials at all three levels: city, provincial or federal, or is it big oil and the dealers?

Leaving Penticton on May 31 the price of gas was $1.34.9 per litre. In Kamloops, it  was $1.19.9 for a difference of 15 cents per litre. On return to Penticton on June 6 gas was $1.05.9 per litre in Kamloops, but in Penticton it was $1.34.9 per litre, a difference of 29 cents  per litre.

Why are we getting the sharp stick in the eye for gas? Oh, I forgot our elected officials don’t give a damn. They have expense accounts and limos and feed out of the public trough.

In 1998 gas in Penticton was 51.9 cents per litre and in Duncan on Vancouver Island it was 38.9 cents per litre. I know, I bought gas in both places.

This is BS Elmer. Don’t eat it!
