David Prystay and the Barking Parrot staff are to be commended on their continued support of not-for-profits by hosting barbecue patio fundraisers.
On May 18, the South Okanagan Victim Assistance Society held a silent auction in conjunction with the burger by donation fundraiser and raised just over $900. Our sincere thanks goes out to all those that supported our event: Nikita Afonso, Judy Poole, Lori Gordon, Willow Massage (Su Black), Purple Lotus Yoga, Shanti Wellness, Penticton Recreation, Tournesol, City Centre Fitness, Grounded Mama, Heiress Salon, Sole Refloxology and Healing Sole Reflexology and Parrot staff Dallas, Mandy and Luke.
