It is so thoughtful, that city council will offer free on-street downtown parking on Saturdays, until Dec. 24.
While this has been an annual “gift” for the past few years, to those driving downtown, it’s really sad, that city council, once again, cares less for those who use public transit, by choice or necessity, or because they’re concerned about the environment and want less car pollution.
I have asked city council in the past, to respect Penticton citizens who use public transit and offer them the same courtesy and give free transit on these Saturdays, until Dec. 24.
I never got an answer Supposedly, the season of giving and caring for ones neighbours.
