Donald Trump has demonstrated clearly that he is unfit to be president of the U.S.
Likewise our city council has exhibited their lack of qualifications to lead our city on a straight path, particularly when negotiating. The examples are numerous: waterslide, parking meters, BMX park, casino dealings, Kinney Street development and on and on.
This new enhanced agreement with Trio Marine Group is preposterous and offers no solution to the beleaguered dealings with this elusive group of individuals. Best solution to rectify this mess is to pay off Trio with a caveat that they leave town and replace the communications officer with an experienced negotiator to protect the citizens of Penticton from further habitual blunders.
