Supporting Okanagan Falls business
I was surprised at the article in the Penticton Western News (Okanagan Falls pot shop vandalized a week after opening, Jan. 19) and dismayed in part because I personally am against marijuana or cannabis use but, I will take this space to say that whatever Jukka Laurio did in the past is hopefully past and I hope that he will be a responsible and productive business member of Okanagan Falls.
I welcome him, as a past resident of Okanagan Falls, to Okanagan Falls and wish him success in his business.
Penticton’s loss is Okanagan Falls’ gain.
I hope the RCMP are doing their jobs and that the person or people who vandalized Jukka’s shop as well as those who helped destroy the Centrex gas station will be caught and punished. Those people are the ones who do not belong in society and ought to change their ways.
