Yes, some servers are losing big, at 16 per cent tip out, when lots tip out more it is like 50 per cent and up.
The servers do their job to try and save for school. If this spreads there will be a lot of servers quitting. Some make over $100 a day, that will end, and the ones that don’t get tipped there is tip sharing,cooks get some and so on. So a lot of people will be unhappy.
You want to raise the rate to $15 an hour but just taking tips away from servers to get the rate up. It does not sound fair.
