I would like to thank the Save Skaha Park committee for the continuous disclaimers of not being involved in extraordinary efforts by Nelson Meikle and the Penticton Citizens First.
The Penticton Citizens First group and especially Nelson has spent countless hours making every effort possible to stop this insane Trio lease by mayor and council. Nelson shows complete transparency, very open to his members, always updating them and keeping the pressure on rather than remaining silent and having his members guessing progress.
I am sure the membership of Save Skaha Park must be proud of the new efforts of an outside group making it more difficult to sell out our parkland. Sometimes it takes more than just direction to achieve this. Surely anyone who is genuine to the cause can appreciate this effort.
Thank you Nelson and Penticton Citizens First and also the Save Skaha Park committee for showing who indeed deserves credit for the latest efforts.
