My family and I just spent the last four days in your wonderful city participating in the BC Winter Games.
My son and I were together in the event of curling and spent our evenings together with many other athletes at Penticton High.
I just want to take time to thank the city of Penticton for
1) Providing some of the most spectacular venues where we not only participated but we’re fortunate to watch speed skating, ringette, diving, figure skating, and karate/judo all within walking distance from our event and we took it all in.
2) The Trade and Convention centre was where it all started and start it did, the efficiency and organization was top notch
3) And I saved this for last ... Penticton be proud of the people who gave it their all... I can’t think of one person whom I met or was part of our experience that was not friendly or helpful beyond expectation and for that I am most thankful.
You did your city proud and the BC Winter Games were a huge success because of you.
I look forward to my next visit to your city.
