Kudos to Lynn Kelsey for stating what’s on most taxpayers minds at the last city council meeting.
We’ve elected a mayor and council who will waste money in court proceedings when taxpayers do not approve of city hall’s decisions. Haven’t they learned anything from the hockey dorm fiasco? Now we have the waterslide fiasco, the fight over firefighters back pay, all to be settled by lawyers while the city pleads poverty. They can however find $500,000 to install a fancy light canopy. That money would go a long way to fix our aging infrastructure. We voted in new people looking for change. We’re getting it, from the frying pan into the fire.
